The BWC Women’s Training Program is presented to prepare you for the Baltimore Women’s Classic 5K. Our goal is to provide a fun, inexpensive and supportive workout, and to encourage women to embark on a lifelong program of fitness.

The training is broken into four groups, depending on your own goals and physical condition. Whether you have yet to start a walking program, or are a seasoned runner looking to improve your race time, one of our groups will be right for you.

ABOUT CANCERVE

Cancerve started as the Baltimore Women’s Classic 5K to encourage women to embrace a healthy lifestyle through exercise.  The race celebrates life, fitness and the power that lies within each woman to take control of her health and to help others.  Through this concept of “Women Helping Women”, the non-profit arm was born.  Each year the thousands of women participating in the BWC 5K allowed us to provide support services for those too ill to run with us. We take care of the “every day matters” so that they can focus on beating cancer, getting well and coming back to us.
