What time does the race start?

The 5K will start at 7:30 AM.

Can I walk the race?

Of course! You can run, walk, dance - whatever works best for you!

Can men participate?

The Baltimore Women's Classic is a women-only race (the country's second oldest!). Men may not participate in the race and men who are on the course will be asked to move to the sidewalk off the official course, but they are welcome to cheer for the women in their lives or volunteer! To register to volunteer please click the Volunteer link at the top of the runsignup.com BWC race page. For more information about volunteering please email events@charmcityrun.com.

Can kids participate?

Children (girls) who are able to walk/run the 5K may participate—just sign them up accordingly, and a guardian over 18 must sign the waiver. Jogging strollers are welcome - please start at the back of your corral and be mindful of runners who need to pass you.

I'm running with friends. Can we make a team?

Any group of 5 or more can be a team! Each person can register themselves and enter the team name and captain's name on their registration form. A prize is given to the largest team!

where can I park?

While numerous parking options are available for race BWC participants and spectators, having a plan prior to race day will help avoid early morning headaches.

Nearby Garages:

Tips:

  • Traffic will be heavy on southbound 83/President Street leading up to race time as vehicles from the north enter Baltimore City. If you are traveling from the north you may want to consider exiting 83 prior to Fayette Street to avoid backups.

  • Prepaying for parking can be helpful, but also limits your options on race day if something unexpected occurs. Consider having a backup plan in case your intended garage is unavailable.
